Mike Hugo is a film editor based out of Los Angeles. Most recently, he was Assistant Editor on the critically acclaimed and award winning film The Florida Project.
He has edited features, shorts and documentaries including Queen of the Desert, SPF-18, Mad Genius, Sins of the Father, To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story, Atlas Shrugged III and Rivers 9 . Along with commercial and web campaigns for the United States Marine Corps., Columbia Bank, and the United States Virgin Islands.
Mike grew up in the Bay Area and taught himself how to edit by cutting skate films. He went on to study film at the University of California Santa Barbara where he learned that his natural technical abilities and finesse make him an asset in the edit bay…as long as there is coffee.
Mike is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild.
